Crude Vermiculite

Dupré Minerals Limited is pleased to announce that an exclusive long-term sales and distribution agreement has been concluded with Gulf Resources Limited (Uganda) for the vermiculite ore from the Namekara Mine Project.

With an indicated resource of over 50 million tonnes of ore, the Namekara Vermiculite deposit has become one of the most important commercial deposits in the world.

The mine is rich in coarse grades of vermiculite which are suffering acute shortages throughout the world.

The plant is designed to produce 35,000 tpa by 2011 and 135,000 tpa by 2012.

Dupré Vermiculite will assist Gulf to bring this important project to fruition using its many years of experience within the vermiculite industry.
