Lead Sulphide

Application

Lead Sulphide (PbS) is typically used in the friction industry as a slip property modifier to improve heat conduction and regulate the friction coefficient.

Dupré Minerals' Lead Sulphide is produced from the highest quality galena with several lead compositions and formulations. Lead Sulphide complies with the specific gravity and size distribution requirements of the following specifications. The careful control of these parameters is of particular benefit in the friction industry where these properties are under strict control.

Packaging

Lead Sulphide is normally supplied as a dry powder in 25kg paper sacks, though alternative packaging can be arranged on request.
