Hobencast 75 - Monolithic Refractory Castable
ApplicationHobencast 75 is a dense castable, having a typical bulk density of 2600 kg/m3 when cast, at a ratio of 100 parts of water to 700 parts of Hobencast 75 and dried at 110°C. As a guide to yield, 2600kg will be needed for each cubic metre of placed material. ClassificationIt is not advisable to use Hobencast 75 beyond a maximum service temperature of 1550°C (=MST). Grain SizeHobencast 75 has a maximum grain size of 5mm. Chemical CompositionHobencast 75 is a high alumina castable having a typical Alumina content of 75% and Iron Oxide content of 4%. |

Packaging & Storage
Hobencast 75 is supplied in 25kg paper sacks, which should be kept dry and used in rotation. Exposure to moisture and prolonged storage will result in deterioration.
