Hobencast 76 - Monolithic Refractory Castable

Application

Hobencast 76 is a dense castable, having a typical bulk density of 2550 kg/m3 when cast, at a ratio of 80 parts of water to 700 parts of Hobencast 76 and dried at 110°C. As a guide to yield, 2550kg will be needed for each cubic metre of placed material.

Classification

It is not advisable to use Hobencast 76 beyond a maximum service temperature of 1600°C (=MST).

Grain Size

Hobencast 76 has a maximum grain size of 5mm.

Packaging & Storage

Hobencast 76 is supplied in 25kg paper sacks, which should be kept dry and used in rotation. Exposure to moisture and prolonged storage will result in deterioration.
