Micasil-P: Electro-thermal Insulation

Micasil-P is an electro-thermal insulation sheet. It is a flexible composite material consisting of phlogopite mica paper layers bonded with silicone resin.

Micasil-P is mainly recommended as slip plane insulation between the crucible and the induction coil in induction furnaces and other thermal applications.

Micasil-P is a high density material with good dialectic strength and good heat transfer. Micasil-P serves as a barrier against leakage currents and acts as a good vapour barrier.
