ApplicationRockset mortar is general purpose high strength mortar. Rockset is an air setting aluminous refractory mortar supplied in a plastic, ready to use form. Rockset is typically used as a joining mortar for low or high alumina dense refractory brickwork. ClassificationIt is not advisable to use Rockset beyond a maximum service temperature of 1600°C (=MST). CompositionRockset is an aluminous mortar having a typical Alumina content of 44.0% and Iron Oxide content of 1.0%. Typical Properties
Packaging & StorageRockset is supplied in 22.7 litre steel tubs, and 5 litre plastic tubs. Use in rotation and before three months from date of manufacture for optimum performance. Exposure to air and storage outside the temperature range of 25-5°C will result in deterioration. |
