Cavity Insulation

Completely fireproof, non-irritant and fibre-free, ultra-lightweight Micafil has many applications. Free flowing and easy to install, it is ideal for thermal and acoustic insulation in lofts, between floors, interior cavity walls and for pipe protection.

Vermiculite can be poured into any cavity - between floors, in interior walls, under stair voids - in a way no other insulation material can. Because of its ultra light weight, no pre-strengthening is required. Used this way, Vermiculite can make a significant contribution to the room insulation and reduction of sound transference between rooms partitioned by stud and plaster-board walls.

VERMICULITE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR INSULATION OF EXTERNAL CAVITY WALLS.
